Reviving our Root Heritage

We invite you to join us for an enchanting evening of art and culture, featuring new releases and limited edition releases of stunning Indic art from our heritage collection. Guests will enjoy a healing Ayurvedic dinner buffet alongside the silent auction of exquisite sacred paintings and vintage photography, some of which will be signed by our spiritual founder, His Holiness Swami Vidyadhishananda.

Sublime chanting and the keynote address will be offered by His Holiness Swami Vidyadhishananda (see abstract below). Your participation nurtures our Nonprofit’s heritage projects on revival of indigenous knowledge and Vedic accelerated learning.

His Holiness Swami Vidyadhishananda is an ordained Himalayan Vedic monk, who hails from unbroken lineages of the combined heritage of rishi sages and nath meditation adepts. He is the spiritual founder of Self Enquiry Life Fellowship and the Hansavedas Mission.

Abstract of Keynote Address
Our nonprofit has launched a holistic curriculum of learning through a digital platform multimedia.hansavedas.org that is structured on an ancient Sanskrit syllabus. This coursework truly reflects the value-based holistic learning system from an authentic root source of indigenous knowledge. The benefit event forms the basis of a precious theme of cultural transmission wherein we present our heritage projects.

Traditional Vedic learning is nonlinear and promotes accelerated learning due to a whole-brain approach. The methods have been successfully practiced by generations of students to improve memory and lead a life of mindfulness. Children are inspired by whole-brain learning that brings about development of personality and graduation with values. The keynote address by His Holiness Swami Vidyadhishananda is an inspiration for our special projects which are then supported by the silent auction and this benefit event.

Silent Auction
During our annual silent auction you have the opportunity to view and purchase rare sacred art from our Nonprofit’s archive collection. The collection and project preserves vintage art of the Sanskrit heritage, including meditative paintings and photography.

Our silent auction is the only opportunity to purchase limited edition prints signed by His Holiness. This year we will be releasing several new limited edition portfolios and prints. At right is one such stunning art piece of Lord Subramanya which we we will offer as a signed 16×20 inch giclee print beautifully framed to 28×34 inches. Several new releases of rare vintage photographs will also be made available. By end of August 2016 we will share an online catalog of the individual pieces which will be available.

Attire
Semi-formal attire is recommended. Festive or traditional Indian clothes are appropriate as is Western style clothing that is semi-formal. Kindly note that we will be in the presence of His Holiness Swami Vidyadhishananda, therefore it is also recommended that attire is modest.

Accommodations
Discounted hotel rates have been arranged for the convenience of our out-of-town guests for the nights of Friday, 14th October and/or Saturday, 15th October. For details on hotel options please click here.

Flight Booking
Those flying in for this event are encouraged to use the Burbank Airport (BUR) as it is the closest airport to the venue. As an alternative, you may also use the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). In some cases rides to and from the airport may be available, but in the event that rides are not feasible we can suggest alternate transportation options.

Tax-deductible Portion of your Sponsorship
Sponsorships are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. The amount of your registration and/or sponsorship donation towards this event which may be deducted for federal income tax purposes is limited to the excess of money contributed over the value of the goods or services provided by Self Enquiry Life Fellowship. Following the event you will be mailed and/or emailed a formal acknowledgement detailing the tax-deductible portion of your contribution.
